CAIRO, 5 November 2020 – The 2020 African Champions League Final will be an all-Egyptian affair.
The final between Zamalek and Al Ahly is scheduled for 27 November 2020.
It will be the first fial to oppose teams from the same country – Egypt.
Zamalek of Cairo beat Raja Casablanca of Morocco 3-1 in their return semi-final game in Cairo.
The Egyptian side had also won the away game in Casablanca, 1-0, leading to their aggregate 4-1 triumph.
The game had been postponed twice after members of the Moroccan squad tested positive for COVID-19.
The final will be played at the beautiful Borg Al Arab Stadium near Alexandria.
Al Ahly, which holds a record eight titles, hopes to win a ninth title while Zamalek seeks a sixth title.
