GORA GAN, 18 December 2020 – Suspected Fulani herdsmen killed seven in an overnight attack on Gora Gan Community in southern Kaduna.
Eyewitnesses say the attackers came in large numbers Thursday night, hitting the community at about 8pm.
“No fewer than seven persons were killed, and about 17 houses were burn down,” Council Chairman for Gora Gan, Elias Manza, told Sahara Reporters.
The victims include a man, his wife and their three children, who were all hacked to death, according to eyewitnesses.
The injured are currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
One eyewitness told Sahara Reporters that the attackers reign of terror on the community lasted almost six hours.
