CAPE TOWN, 4 November 2020 – Police have arrested a woman and four men for their role in the robbery of a post office in Dunoon, Cape Town.
A spokesperson for the police, Colonel Andre Traut, told reporters that the Flying Squad and K9 Unit which responded to the robbery, found information in the gate-away vehicle of the robbers.
That information helped the police track down the robbers who were later arrested as they exited a highway in Bellville.
The suspects are scheduled to appear before a judge in Bellville on Friday.
The robbers made away with an unknown amount in cash which they seized at gunpoint at the post office they robbed.
