CAIRO, 15 November 2020 – Egyptian international and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is in self-quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19 while he was back home ahead of Egypt’s African Cup of Nations qualifying game against Togo on Saturday.

The Egyptian Football Federation (EFF) announced the results of the test Friday.

Salah is not displaying any symptoms, the EFF added.

The rest of the Egyptian squad tested negative.

It is clear that Salah will miss at least the next two matches of Liverpool.
