The App assists healthcare providers to acquire healthcare information, raise awareness on disease prevention and work with patients virtually to tackle health issues in a time of COVID-19.

Pigia Daktari App will address an emerging necessity and enable great access and utilization of safe quality health care without the patient having to visit a health facility, said Sisawo Konteh, chief executive officer for the hospital.

Patients anywhere in Tanzania will henceforth be able to have timely consultations with different specialists without having to visit Dar es Salaam.
